added 3002 bars to the poll and upped the number of allowable choices. I am thinking since we are talking larger saws with fairly low demand maybe just a slim variety...25" and 36" in 404....wouldnt be a big deal to swap tips to give you 3/8 if thats what you wanted.

I would think the longest option they make for 3002 which may be 36/37 like before and then 25-30" would be good for saws like the 133/143 family. That would be better than trying to find them on ebay leftover NOS

Wednesday I have a meeting with Hayward to discuss reorder numbers on the Tsumura bars and to add a few bars from my wish list if i think they will realistically sell in large enough numbers to be worth it. Lets hear it, what do you wanna see? Anything that isn't on my list feel free to add it and I'll tally it up and add em to my wish list for Hayward to ponder on.
Any 28" 3/8 .050 D009 I believe (7910,288) light weight? I could use at least 2-3 of those. Or any thing 24-32 in that configuration..

I'm with @Four Paws on the 42" Reduced Weight bar, and longer options would be really great.
As far as flex when milling, I would think that the bar design, in and of its self would negate this issue. When I was making my 32" reduced weight, the Japanese style of RW bar had flex numbers very close to a standard GB bar, compared to the almost "buggy whip" flex of an Oregon RW. Secondly, being somewhat supported by the mill itself should negate much of any tendency to "flex".

Yeah, I would probably buy a Lightweight 28" D009, 3/8, .050 if ever they became available. I don't buy as many bars as some of the guys here, one bar would last me quite a long time.

T423FK4 is the part number, they are coming in with this order in a few weeks.

how about a 27 bar preorder.....edit: misread the order...its only 25 bars

thanks to the preorders that are coming in some bars will not be available for another few months. ordered 25 24" stihl bars and they are all sold before i even receive them with none left at hayward until they get another order in which wont be for a few months.

top 3-4 bars from the poll have been added to their next order if I understood correctly and they are checking on prices/minimum order quantity for the 3002 mount bars....I get some info back on that i may start a thread devoted strictly to them to help decide whether they will bring them in or if i am interested in bringing them in myself.

Whatever is lightest that fits my Dolly 6400 in 20" with the D009 adaptor I have coming. Don't make a buying decision on account of me, I'm only good for one but I do hope to also get a lighter 16" bar for my 421 later this year.

Any chances at a RW K095 in 20" - .050 - 3/8"? That would be perfect for Dad's MMWS 262xp. How about a K095 in 16" - .050 - 3/8", w/o having to buy a .325" version and replace the nose?

It would pull it, but a 20" bar is a better fit in the conditions we're cutting in.

Everyone might think I'm crazy but I think a 22" would be perfect for the bulk of firewood cutting. If you do a fair amount of bucking and noodling a 20" doesn't have enough usable length and a 24" likes to get the nose into places it shouldn't be.

your not crazy....had plenty of requests for 22" bars. Not enough to tempt me into ordering them though....Tsumura has IIRC a 22" 76DL one for stihl and husky.

If enough people were interested in them i would put in an order but my fear is buying 50 of them and selling an immediate 10 while being forced to sit on the other 40 for the next 5 yrs

Fair enough. I just ordered a couple Tsumura 22" bars off EBay in large mount Husky. If I ever get a chance to cut wood I'll make a thread on my thoughts and maybe it'll expose the idea. Small mount for my 2260 might be getting a little specialty but the large mount would cover quite a few saws at least.

@fordf150, how much is a RW 20" K095 bar anyways?
I'm trying to figure out how much more a brand new one is compared to a lightly used RW Sugi bar... Thanks

old prices for 20, 24, 28 RW bars were
$74.95
$88.95
$109.95

with free shipping over $100.....

with that being said there are going to be some pricing changes and shipping cost changes......shipping up/bars down is the general idea but havent decided on firm pricing yet

Those prices are really good for brand new RW bars! Not dogging on HL Supply in any way here, but just to show comparison I was just looking at the Sugi 28" D009 and they run just about $140 from HLS.
