We had a big blow a few days ago about like a monsoon .I saw this yesterday ,2 footer about 65-70 foot ,the roots gave away .This is typical of an EAB killed ash after about 8-10 years .The wood will still be solid as a rock and hard as a rock also I might add .It's going to take a tug from the Oliver crawler on this one .I've done a lot wind blown trees and do fairly well but I'm not that good .This one could be a widow maker .

I've seen and did a lot worse .I'd imagine with the roots gone a little shove on the root ball would break it loose .Once on the ground it's easy .I've got a lot of stuff on the ground and a lot dead standing .At the pace I go--not too fast I'm looking at a couple of years .
