I like the 394xp I have quite a bit, but a 395xp is a good option from a respectable member here!

Still running the 394 for now. Here it is in action and another shot fitted with a new bar that gives me about a 46" cutting width on the homemade alaskan. Not quite ready to get my shiny new 395"XS" dirty yet. Plus the snow is flying now, good reading weather. I was using full chisel skip taken down incrementally to about 10 degrees with good results.

Does anyone run their Alaskan Mill with .404 chain? Or is 3/8" better?

3/8ths leaves a smaller kerf, but I didn't notice a difference.
