Hi my name is Steve and I drink to much........................... oh schmit wrong place. I have posted a few things on the AS and the replies were what I would say less than helpful. I mostly cruz the milling forum there but there is a lot of ego to wade through to find the helpful info. and lets not forget the misinformation and blatantly wrong information that gets passed around there.

I am not a logger forester nor arborist. However I have handles saws for decades professionally and for fun, and have a passion for the woods but nothing matters over there except the KoolAid they are drinking. It's way more fun when you can contribute to a forum without having to give your life's history.

I've only been on this site a few days and already feel like and active contributing member. I lurked in the shadows on AS for years before posting. Great bunch of guys here, and I can't wait until I can hit one of these GTG's.

Heck, I don't even know what happened on AS but I like you all much better than a lot of those shmucks. I use my saws for firewood and farm use and have trouble from time to time and need help. They always seemed to be too far advanced of sawyers to help but you all seem to LIKE to help. If @Mastermind was the brunt of a bunch of BS on AS, the folks that run it must be a bunch of short sticked rainbow riders.

OPE is so much better it's easier to talk to folks and get real answers without the troll answers. AS was like GB forums (gun broker) they all had paranoia and thought everyone was out to take their guns or something?
