my 545 was flawless 2014 model to boot ran strong.
I've had many fine performing saws from multiple manufacturers, but I've had my fair share of duds/lemons from the same.
For every *s-wordty Husqvarna 240e, there is an equally *s-wordty Stihl MS210. The converse is true, as well, when it comes to properly running Pro Grade saws. I've never been one to play favorites, and someday I hope to own a 034S, 044/046, and an 064 too see what they are all about.
However, I will continue to run my ZCS 5105, MMWS MS390, ZCS 372XP-W, 288XP-W, and 395XP-W.
Skip the 064 Jon. Ive had 2. Got rid of 2. Both ported, both very strong.... but, Too much vibes. Much prefer the 288xp in that class. I wish I had listened to the advice of Ryan, Clint, and Mike and gone with a 461 instead.... I might still own it. I know the 064 is a cult saw like the 288... ford vs chevy, etc. I prefer the 288.
you want a smooth saw just visit this wack.

Uh oh......Love my 7 year old 562XP, still going strong with only 2 broken spring mounts in its history.
My Stihl dealer recently told me the Stihl 500i introduction here in Canada this fall is now cancelled. Something about a recall.....
My 362 and 462 are both doing well.
R U throwin' a squirrel in the church to see what happens?...asked no one in a Husky thread.
Stihl USA sight still says end of 2019 for now.Love my 7 year old 562XP, still going strong with only 2 broken spring mounts in its history.
