Well we finally have typical winter temps here. A brisk 18 F here this morning. Wood furnace is cranking out the BTUs and I'm thinking I need to fire up the wood burner in the shop so it's warm when I head out there in a while. Guess no more T shirt weather this week.

Didn't you just have 64 or so the other day?

Those extreme swings would be hard to deal with. A cold snap of a couple weeks is one thing but the back and forth warm to cold would mess with the body something fierce.

-20*C at 7:00 here today. Cold enough the old nose hairs froze up and my stash was icy.
