He lives out in the sticks. That said the township building is next door to him, they put up new lights a few years ago. It went to court and they had to change them to some that were quite a bit better for him. That scope is motor driven and he sets is his house and operates it from his chair. It is an impressive set up.

Other hobby gives me a good excuse to play with saws in the woods and in the shop.

Makin maple syrup can keep you busy all year long. I make 20 to 30 gallons a year on home-made evaporator, which takes 2-3 full cords of small split wood a year.

Cool...nice setup!! Really like the poles/framework for the shed roof deal you got going on there for the little shack.

Curious as to how much a gallon sells for? A little syrup making going on here in mid-Ga but not a whole lot I don't think.

I collect Mauser rifles. Specifically South American Mausers and WWII early ERMA and Mauser produced 8x57's.

I am still in the market for a 1909 Peruvian all matching with matching bolt in mint condition. And yes, I know how much it will cost.

How is the light pollution where ya'll are at? From the pics on the site, seems very little if any unless using good filters. I'm eat up with light pollution so some of my viewing is with filters.

Interesting read, appreciate putting up the link...that would be an awesome place to set up scopes. Absence of light pollution makes all the difference in the world.

Woodworking and cabinetry is my 40 hour gig. But I can't get away from it. Love spending some time in the garage building things for my house. Also way into airbrush artwork. Been taking lessons for awhile now and have a true appreciation for people who are full time artists.

Just recently got into the fpv quad choppy hobby and still fly rc planes. The quads are a blast with the agility they have to dip n dodge through obstacles. It's something I recommend trying.
The Lil quad choppy is mine and the yellow 5 inch rotor choppy is my friends bigger quad.
