What oil is best? and what ratio?

Jer, what octane do you believe the 100LL to be?
I'd like to believe it started life at 100.
I'm sure it's a few points lower at this point in time. Cobby brought me 6 gal last April.
Hopefully he brings another 6-12 gal to the GTG for me this coming April.

Move over Red Armor there's a new much cheaper oil ($9 a liter) in town. I don't know what the base oil this has, but in order to be made in Germany and labeled as a synthetic it's either got to be a polyalphaolefin or an ester base. It smells sweet like Motul.

It probably IS Motul

motul 800 burns nice in a lawn boy when grass is 5 inches high.
but it is a little stinky.
