What octane is best, and why

I always just buy 91 Oct which is the highest at the normal pump here is CA. I use it in everything from ATVs, UTV, saws and the other OPE. Just makes it easier for me to have the same fuel for everything.

I get 93 for power equipment and buggy. Read somewhere about Premium having a bit longer life before the carbon chains start breaking down....going stale. I don't notice any performance difference between 87 & 93 on stock saws.
