HELP! What kind of sealant..

If it was mine I would go to the auto parts store and get a tube of 3m window urethane. That would probably hold better than anything. I used it on my 3406e cat, the rear covers always leak where they mate up to the rear of the block. I cleaned the oil off and smeared some over the joint and it never leaked at all till the block split probably 3 years later.
