A few years ago, I sent my wife to the store for a bag of dog food. She stopped and bought a new SR71 4wd crew cab Colorado, on the way home.
We had talked about getting her a new vehicle and she thought that meant it was OK to go buy one. At least that was her story.
I couldn't really say much, I bought a farm without discussing it with her.
I'm this with all do respect. If thats your wife in your profile pic then I'd let her buy dam near anything.

Want to know what grinds my gears?

Wife told me a week or so ago, "hey I'm going to buy a new couch, it's $1200 but on sale for $250".

To which I though, yeah no problem because the one we have is a POS.

Fast forward to yesterday.

Wife: Want to see the couch I boight?

Me: Yeah looks nice, good deal too.

Wife: oh, I also bought a set of (insert real name here) "stupid footstool thing" also, it was on sale.

Me: wait, that stupid footstool thing is also $250. How many did you buy?

Her: 2.... and this recliner....

Me: how much was the God damn recliner?

Her: it was also on sale... $250

Me: holy *s-word, you seriously bought an entire furniture set for $1000 and didn't even talk with me about it?

And that's when the fight started.

So using this logic, I'm im search of a 32" bar and chain for about $150. It should include a ported 395xp for an additional $600.
Can't wait to pull that card later. :cursing2:
Your a braver man than me @Marshy :risas3:

My wife’s looking at a chesterfield leather couch $5000.00 :(
About 10 years ago my wife bought a pair of leather couches, chair and ottoman, for our great room. It was close to $10,000 for all of it. We still have them and they still look and feel like they did when new. I'm a firm believer in buying the best quality you can afford.

The amount of couches we have owned in 20 years is astonishing :(probably a good investment this time though
