I think you meant to put that in the tractor thread..?Have y'all thought about putting antifreeze and water mix in the rear tire tubes, that's what we have in our smaller tractors. Haven't had any problems for years. The John Deere 3020 has cast iron wheels with steel rim plus cast iron wheel weights, plenty of weight on it.

Worst case, I will ask my brother in law for his help. He's been designing and building barns since '82 (before I was born!) and knows all the tricks. I just spoke to him more about it this last weekend. Here's just one example of a barn he built.

Gorgeous
It's actually kind of sickening when you realize people spent this kind of money because... horses.

Yes, thats the gold standard anymore for those large ones. There's some money wrapped up in those for sure. Might be possible one of those barns were his creation. He told me there was only one other guy that's been building barns for as long as he has and he's in PA. The majority of his work is in the area you described.I worked in and around a couple barns like that in CT/NY/Mass back in the day; $100+ million horse farms. It is truly amazing some of the features they boast: radiant heating in the floors, climate controls for each stall, specialized shower/sauna rooms for hygiene and massage, motion sensor cameras and temperature sensors in each stall, automatic fire suppression and emergency evacuation systems, integrated furnished apartments for stable hands with access to complete surveillance/monitoring systems and alarms. Absolutely state-of-the-art.
