She pulled 180psi cold and runs awesome thus far... There will be video of it and one of us will post it up along with vids of his 288 in the same log for comparison.

I gotta say, not having a compression release seems like it's going to be hard on starter parts. Was pretty stoked to see it pull 180 cold. I think this cylinder is going to be an ass kicker

I dont hardly ever use decomp but it sounds like I could use one on this cylinder. Sounds like its gunna be a wood eatin beeotch.

I don’t think you’ll be wanting a decomp since you normally run your saws without base gaskets.

Sorry guys, I just wasn't able to make time to run the 288 today.

Just had alot of family stuff going on today. I was ITCHING to put that thing into our 24" hard sugar maple log today!

The new style starter housing I swapped Rocketnorton for arrived today though, so I will not need to borrow Josh's tomorrow.

We WILL get it done tomorrow!

That would be hilarious! I just texted him, hopefully he returns to the land of the living shortly. He’s just as excited if not more than us to try his 288 with Dale’s cylinder.

Edit: he’s out sanding roads, should be done in an hour and a half.
