I'm sure that's true.I’m no saw porter, just a dude that likes to run saws lol, but I’ve heard and read so many times “power is made/found in the transfers”. So your probably on the right track. I think timing advance .20 would gain a bit and match muffler to cylinder.
I expect/hope to get some descent gains after I match and mod the muffler and advance the timing, but I don't think it's going to be the end-all be-all.
I'm seriously shooting to get a grinding start-up kit from CC Specialties. Not to sound like a chump, but I have to wait to see what our tax return yields before I can commit to pulling the trigger. Working stiff with kids here... LOL!
