Wanna learn to Port a Saw

I think I might have to ask Dave about it. I wouldn't mind a 266 and send it off to be ported. My 346 almost has me wanting another Husky.

Yeah but some 266 are better runners to me than the 272

Pretty much. I have a 266xpg that runs good enough I haven't modded the muffler or ported it.

Do some of you actually feel threatened by the possibility of this being an imposter or stunt double? Or by someone who has ported chainsaws all his life and decides for his first post to be a build thread of his own? Aside from the chit-show and posting in the wrong thread, I have more fun watching these threads play out. We read about chainsaws on here every day, and if i don't like what I'm reading, I move on. Who cares if this is someone we all know? Sometimes the lucky charms are at the end of the rainbow. Gotta let it play out.
