Got a craftsman branded poulan 2000 with a Walbro wt-20 carb. This saw ran as of 6 months ago
Been trying to rebuild the carb to get it running again. Took the carb down. Removed both Welch plugs.
Cleaned internal and external parts with spray carb cleaner. All ports were open.
Then cleaned in ultrasonic cleaner with Awesome and then again with carb cleaner. Dried the carb with compressed air. Reassembled with new carb kit. Set L and H screws to 1-1/4 turns.
No start. Would run with prime but wouldn’t pull fuel.
Pressure tested saw at 150 psi.
Decided to swap carb with a known runner. It started without a prime and ran well.
I have rebuilt these carbs before along with many other kinds with no issues. Obviously I’m missing something. anyone got any suggestions?
