Had a buddy bring a mini tiller (Mantis or Murry? - it was little weed eater looking motor) over last night b/c he couldn't tune the carb out right. It was a brand new from factory fully adjustable carb. After messing with it for 2 mins i realized I could turn the L-needle all the way down and it didnt die! Took me another 20seconds to realize that they stamped the H & L on the wrong sides! :applaudit::applaudit::applaudit: Way to go Walbro!

Anyone else run into the H & L needles being miss-marked by the factory?

Got a pic?

A buddy called me yesterday because his similar bazillion-years-old tiller (Hoffco Lil' Hoe) with a similar engine was running wonky.

I could not find any adjustment screws on it at all.

I fired it up and put a teaspoon of Sea Foam into it .... twenty minutes later it was back to normal.

This one was on the canned True Fuel. It just looked like a normal walbro 40cc saw carb.

Confusing...in the pic above, L screw is on the intake side...which is all I've ever seen on dozens of trimmers.

The low side is always the closest to the engine/cylinder.
