I would stick with ceramic tile in splash zones. I have vinyl in my kitchen now (vinyl over wood) and had a slow leak from the dishwasher, caused the wood to bubble in spots pushing up on the vinyl. It isn't noticeable to look at, but you can feel it when you walk on it.Elsewhere, I've got a wood frame with crawl space bathroom (bath tub etc) that needs tearing out and rebuilt. All ceramic tile floor and walls.
Thus why I'm curious about the vinyl on wood in a potential splash zone.
That is 100% true.I figure the upstairs bathroom won't get a lot of traffic, floors are pretty solid. Sure looks better than the Advantech...

I might buy when i go see museumsJT - they are all for sale, just not everyone is willing to pay what I'm asking.

Are your price high or reasonable ??JT - they are all for sale, just not everyone is willing to pay what I'm asking.

I've heard that some Facebook dwellers think my prices are incredibly high, but when I compare with eBay I am normally more reasonable.
Museum is located in Dike, Iowa, if you can find Main Street you can find my buildings (603/609).
