Am I the only one imagining all of those saws tied down and idling, while on the the back of the truck?
As it rolls down the street for the parade.

This years "float", I did make the round trip with the 99 (two man saw) idling away. I saw a lot of smiling faces in the crowd watching the parade.





There's been some progress on Phase 2 the past few weeks, roof is on the parking area in the rear and they were putting the floor on that space when I left on Wednesday.

The insulator have finished with the first layer of closed cell foam. Plumbers got a good start yesterday, electricians have me on the schedule now.





Meanwhile, the saws keep piling up...



...and I had a surprise visitor yesterday, hacskaroly and his daughter stopped as they were making a trip from Idaho to Indiana. I do believe he is the first visitor from Idaho.



Cary is an 3XL, I am still an extra medium.

HVAC were on site today preparing for the mini splits.



Electricians were at work as well, here they are putting up lights in the covered parking area

Carpenter was working on the opening between the attics so the electricians can get the wiring & lights done in that area.



Looking though the opening where a ventilation register used to be. I had to crawl through the opening just to say I went from the new building into the existing on via the attic way.

Drywall arrived on Friday.

As the drywall work goes on inside, the carpenter is working on getting the outside finished. This week he's working on windows in the dormers and getting front tied together and finished off.



I missed Cycledude when he stopped by in June...



I was here today and took his photo...



Mike came in for a visit as well.

I have a visit from a certain Mr. McCulloch today.



I (now) know who this Mr, McCulloch is, as well as Mike, Alex, and Brent, but Don Powers got in and out without my meeting him last week.

Yes, we had a nice visit.

In fact his son lives here in Dike and he and his wife have been in a few times already but this was the first time for the senior Mr. McCulloch.

Drywall is all hung, crew will be coming back to tape and finish.

Carpenter has been working on getting the exterior work done; windows, soffit, fascia on the dormers and now the eyebrow on the west end of the building.



There are 9' ceilings in the new building, 12' in the current building so the heights of covered parking areas do not match up.

I thought that was an interesting first name and then yesterday I received a phone call from a guy named "Tryrail". He is a white guy and when I asked him about his name he stated that his mom was a "coke head" and that is how his named ended up like that on his birth certificate. From what it sounds like it was supposed to be "Tyrell". He stated that when he was in the army one of his black drill sergeants told him that he had the "blackest" name he had ever heard.
