What's the inside diameter of the 394 filter? Vstacks that Dave has are 2" o.d. that attach to wj.

Thinking of something like this. That has a 32mm od on the velocity stack. Shorter pipe and a steeper angle off the carb block. A thinner block would work better as well.

On a side note for you guys running velocity stacks do you have a problem with the switch shafts on the stihls popping out of there seat?

Told you wrong a steeper angle off the carb block won't work I would have interference with the filter and filter base.

What are you wanting to put this on? 2100 or 288 filter bases work well.

Why not use just a velocity stack and a offset filter?

Don't really want to run a filter that I have to oil. I know they have there merits just not something I want to mess with.
