Do you have drill bits to where you could step drill it closer to your final dimensions, so you would only have to do a few clean up passes? Or hole saws and a boring bar?
I do have bigger bits but for the life of me I can't find them. Yes Sir I used my boaring bar on the first one I made.

Took me about 2 min to indicate it in I had already faced off each end. I use a grizzly 0602 lathe.

I'm trying to help you save yourself a bunch of time on the next one, so take this as constructive criticism.

1. Cut your stock closer to finished length, all that overhang is asking for trouble.
2. Unless your chuck is way out of whack why bother indicating? The runout tolerances aren't that critical on a V-stack. If the ID is .004" from being concentric with the OD, who cares?
3. There's no need to face off both ends, your throat is getting rid of the area you just spent time facing of on one end.
4. Increase your depth of cut. It looks like your taking very small cuts, hog that thing out until you get close to your final dimension and then do a lighter finish pass. I'm just guessing from your swarf, you are taking less than .025" per pass?

Keep up the good work.
