If you do this, make sure you go in with a COOL head and do not bash the guy in front of the SO personnel. MAKE IT CLEAR to them by your actions, language, and appearance that you are the good guy in this matter. It will go further than you may think. (not saying that you would not know this but there is always that one...)

I just spent an hour talking with the local sheriff. We were talking about a 6 month investigation into a guy that has been starving horses to death in the field. Twenty six horses were confiscated, and animal cruelty charges have been served. It took awhile to get this taken care of but without cool heads it would have been brushed off......

He was in trouble in several counties, and was hiding horses from officials where he could. We noticed that no one ever brought the horses hay even in terrible drought. That's when we started asking questions. Then as winter came on......no one fed them when it snowed. The animal control people found six dead horses in the woods. Incredibly, after the land owner told him to get all the horses off his property, he brought 20 more and turned them out. Still no hay........

Sounds like they should turn him out into the field, naked, no shelter, no food. No excuse for that!

One good thing that's coming out of this. Looks like we will be picking up the lease on the property. The land owner is willing to do some restoration on the fields too.

About a year ago I entered into an arrangement on on MS 460 via Facebook Chainsaw Group to purchase the saw.
Seller had no PayPal account, so after about 15 inboxes, 10-12 phone calls, 12 text messages, "before. during, and after" I sent a money order.
Saw never shows up...contacted the seller dozens of times until he stop answering his phone or text.
Filed 2 claims with the Post Office...still YET to hear a freaking word from them!
I have a ton of a paper trail where he apologizes and says he will send my money or a saw!
I have buddy who lives in the same city & I had him to drive by his address...he says most of the time the front door is wide open, folks are partying/drinking gusto's, and they look pretty blasted!
Any other method of recovery, other than doing something clandestinely violent?
Have any of you all ever been screwed while using the USPS with money orders on chainsaws?
The $$ is not the issue now...its the principal...I only sent a partial payment.

This the idiot from Indpls that claims to port and polish saws? He is the owner of a local tree service that has all negative reviews on yellow pages.com. He has screwed over several people from facebook and several other sites.
