This GTG isn't geared toward racing.
Too many butt hurt feelings at the end of the day. Last thing we want is this to turn into a competition.
I only say that cause my saws are slow and I get butt hurt easily.
Yes.

And we Runs Work Saws, aka Stills.

Well I might be back on the hook again guys... Looks like @paragonbuilder from Norwich CT won the chainsaw carving from @lumberjackchef

So if I come out I could possibly bring the chainsaw carving with me. Otherwise that is a long haul for either of them. The trick is will it be done in time for me to leave for Greenwich and how far of a drive is it from me to lumberjackchef???

This is all tentative depending on if i can get my wonderful redhead to agree but...

Sunday April 24th is the GTG and I was thinking about stopping to see my little brother in Bloomington IN. So it would work good to head down through KC/Blue Springs and take I-70 east. Would probably want to pick it up Thursday afternoon (4/24) near Blue Springs. Do you think that's possible? Also would need to discuss if it would fit in the car or if I need a SUV to transport it...???

If it falls together maybe Paragonbuilder will buy me a tank of gas for transport?? :polutxoso:

It sounds like I might have a co-pilot to come with me, but again we'll see if that falls together.

Anyone bringing saws/parts saws vintage or new to sell swap? I'm after dolmar's and makitas of course but always looking for something new to tinker with.

Also if I come does anyone want me to bring some spare Super Scrapers? I started ordering them last month. Really well liked by mechanics out here.

Chainsaw - Recovery - Vehicle

I miss my truck.
With the growing family, I needed room for a second car seat. Extra cab Tacoma didn't have room for an infant seat behind the driver seat.
And at the time, fuel was $4/gal.
I was spending $100/wk in fuel just traveling to work.
My next vehicle will be another Tacoma (My 4th).

Hey guys,
Wife has angrily said yes to me coming but my co-pilot has HS prom dance. Ugh! Wife says I need someone to split drive time and I agree.

Dave,
I was going right past you since I would take I-70 out of KC but leaving car at your place would be back tracking 1.5hrs for me.

Also, do we have any Canadians coming? Mike said shipping his chain vises to Canada was $44 so he could send some of those with and some bar adapters if there is interest.

I'll bring the blue ported 9010's if I come.

Cheers,
Nate
