It has only exhaust and transfer ports. It is for a reed valves engine. It’s pretty wild as there is no exhaust port in thinking it’s a factory blank or something
I’m going through some parts and cannot figure out what cylinder this is
Yes, I agree...XL12 or Super XL - should be 46mm. I have a Super XL, but have not taken it apart yet....that would have thrown me not having a dedicated intake and exhaust portsIt looks a lot like a Homelite Super XL cylinder.

Exhaust. Homelite was a fan of bridged exhaust ports.Which one is the single divided port on the side? Exhaust? Intake? Both? Neither?
How's the explosive stuff get in?Exhaust. Homelite was a fan of bridged exhaust ports.

Looks like the fuel goes through the carb to #17 (Crankcase) and then drops into the crankcase and gets pumped into the cylinder through the transfers and then exhausts from there.

Echo is still selling the CS-303T, which is the only new saw being produced that I know of that is still using a reed valve.Interesting. Never would have thought the intake port could be on the crankcase.
