any of you guys keep a saw in the truck all the time.
I normally keep the little husky or the little ms 250.

I usually have a saw in the truck but not always. And it varies depending on what I expect my needs may be. Lately I've been carrying a Husky 55 or a Stihl 039.
For several years I kept a Poulan 2050 or something similar. Now I'm using my truck to carry more stuff so I put saws and gear in and out a lot more. Today I pulled out all the saw stuff and carried a bunch of laminate flooring and some misc tools. Tomorrow I'll have different stuff in there.
I think one of the best truck saws is the Poulan 2000 or its many cousins. They're cheap, plentiful and will solve most problems...

I don't have a saw in the vehicle on a regular basis, but when I go up to my cabin (2 mi in on a 4WD road) I always pack a saw or two. Used to always be my 044, but recently I just Siamese the the 044 and 362 and bring em both. Just in case you hit something in whatever is blocking your way, or in case you get pinched, it is just nice to have 2.

My ms230 has been nothing but a pickup saw for the last 10 years or so. It isn't a powerhouse by any means but it usually will get done whatever I need it to. Nice and light for use around the farm and ranch and fits in the back of a rhino with all the fencing equipment.

That why i started leving one in truck. Had to turn around one night and go way out the way to go around.

Believe it or not but my truck saw for the past five or six months has been a mmws 395xp. Got a nice place in a side box that it stays. Used pretty regularly

I won't leave my 346 in the truck. Sticky fingers??? Never know it's sad I like it well enough but use that 55 the most cause it's right there
