Start on your sight cut side line up your cut then walk the cut around meeting up with the far side.

Yes sir. That’s what I tried to do. I’ve been successful w that before. Saw clearly wasn’t level I was rusty. First big tree I’ve cut since last winter.

You got it down safe. All that counts.
Yeah wasn’t really a scary thing but it left way before I wanted it to. Heavy weighted tree 20 inch limbs all off to one side. I’m sure I could’ve approached it differently but instincts were to go that route. Face cut was shallow. Tip from @westboastfaller. Tree had to go. It’s down mission complete.
