Ok. TY
Nice photos.
Thanks, Groundi took the pics. This was a fun tree job as it was almost all cutting. No ropes, rigging, pulling, ladders, chipping, etc. Just sawing. Groundi went through 4 tanks of fuel in her MS180 and I used three different saws. (021, 036 and MS460). It was a "leave lay" job and all of it was cut into firewood but we didn't move anything.

Knocked down this big field cherry for my friend. Tough one for me to read because the main trunk had little to no lean so it was all judging the branch load with several big heavy runners going in all directions...which I’m admittedly not the best at. After 10 minutes of looking I got started, drove a wedge in hard in the back cut for insurance. As you can see on the stump it was also a split trunk, danger high, I hate split trunks. 37” bar on my 394, good size tree for me.

I wish it wasn't such a PITA to post pics straight from my phone! Ive got a few pics of some decent trees. The largest Ive ever cut was a tulip poplar that had over 2900 ft in it. I also cut a red oak on the same job that had over 2600 ft in it.
