Even the bark which is up to 3 to 4 inches thick once dry makes great firewood and can burn for up to 4 hours when you fill your firebox up. everything about the tree is great except working it and transporting it it is bloody heavy 1120 kilos per cubic metre from memory .Wow. Unreal stuff...
Some trees here suffer root rot and blow over. Go figure
This is some of the best fire wood in Australia it's called iron bark and is hard and heavy .
