Back as far as the last few pages -

Nice job on the rippers boys
I always knew when my cut was plumb or my falling cuts were level.. The drool always ran out of both sides of my mouth

Wow. Unreal stuff...
Some trees here suffer root rot and blow over. Go figure
Even the bark which is up to 3 to 4 inches thick once dry makes great firewood and can burn for up to 4 hours when you fill your firebox up. everything about the tree is great except working it and transporting it it is bloody heavy 1120 kilos per cubic metre from memory .

Unreal. I'd love to get the chance to burn some of that stuff and compare it to the wood we have here.

The portion of a Black Locust fence post in the ground will last almost 4 ever, ironically, the portion above ground will eventually start to weather.

I have also noticed that the heartwood of Black Cherry, and Chestnut Oak, if suspended off the ground - even in shaded areas, will last for decades! I imagine White Oak will do the same, just don't see it much.

This stuff has a reputation of burning out fire boxes in as little as one season but that is only because the idiots burning it give it to much air and are sitting in a house that's 28 to 32 degrees in the middle of winter there Fools
