I am looking to get some tooling to work on my saws and am looking to the board for recommendations, looking for quality as a first priority. I know I need a set of long t- handle torx and probably an 8mm long t-handle socket, but would like also long / extendes torx set with a minimum of t-25 & t-27

There is a regional chain here called Menards. They are based in Wisconsin but have stores all over. Their primary business is lumber/home improvement but the stores also have a grocery section. You can get a gallon of milk, a pack of bratwursts, and some Pepsi. There is a farm store west of here in Iowa that sells beer. It is odd to see what some stores sell.

Menards had the best price on eggs here by a lot. Wonder if thats still true? Pretty sure Tuesday was delivery day. I'll have to check it out.

Menards is about two miles away from me and Lowes is across the road from it .TSC is another half a mile if that .I've actully got the best of two worlds .Ten acres of land with 7.5 acres of woods .House is 600 feet from the road plus all the firewood I'll ever need is no further away than 500 feet . I wouldn't trade it off for the best home in Palm Beach Florida where the country club crowd lives .

This is peace and quiet. I can walk 2.5 miles/4Km of my land on top of the Mississippi River bluff and never have to see a "neighbor" If I want to fish I can walk down to the river and "drown some worms"

Where we live year round is in the middle of a metro of 2 million. 2nd home in the mountains on a half mile long road with 4 homes spread out on 2 to 4 acres each with a river in the back yard, 2 miles outside a town of 800 and 60 miles from the nearest "city" of 5,000.

The peace and quiet is in the metro because our neighbors and most everyone else are 100 times better people than the jackasses we have for neighbors at our other place.
