Just goes to show ya...ya can't fix stupid!! Zoo officials need to leave the tiger alone, it simply did what evolution has hardwired in predatory cats and what big cats do...but immediately spay and neuter all surviving members of this idiotic family. Jeez!!!

I went to a wild animal refuge earlier this year (bears, tigers, lions, etc.). They have a no contact policy with all the animals, meaning the staff do not physically contact any animals. The animals have shelters; when a storm comes they want all the big cats in their shelter. Guess how the staff get the cats in the shelter....they walk up to the cage near the door of the shelter, turn around and squat down. The cats immediately start stalking and come right up to the cage like they are going to kill the staff. Works every time they say, that is what they (the cats) do instinctively.

So NO, big cats do not play.

Must have been one hell of an argument to risk a cat attack rather than stay in the vehicle with her husband.
