I have been told some of those YouTube accounts make money that way but maybe its just the ones that have commercials

Long story short I will gladly spend a couple hours nocking his ratings down, I just don't want him to get a fukkin dime from it

If I'm not mistaken, they make money off of time watched, not how many times a video is clicked, and then the ads are usually scattered throughout the video. Of course, more time watched means more ads usually. Don't quote me on all that, but I think that's what I've heard some channels say. So if you just click on a vid, and thumbs down real quick, and move onto the next, he won't get much, but honestly I thought someone said he isn't monetized anyways. He's gained like a thousand subs in a few days, so he's gaining regardless it seems.

If you don't have an ad blocker and no ads play during the video then it's not a monetised channel, if ads play then it is. I turn my ad blocker on or off depending on the channel. The more a monetised video is watched no matter how old the more money the channel creator makes, so for example wranglerstar is still making heaps of money from videos he made 7 years ago.
