Another one dropped off yesterday, MS251, wouldn't start.
Tried a few pulls with throttle open, nothing.
Removed the top cover (only one screw...) and tried it again, saw the choke rod flopping around loose. Connected the choke rod, set the choke, started on the next pull.
Its always the choke rod flopping around that is the culprit!! I have had that a few times, get ready to throw the saw and see the issue, then feel like an idiot for a while...
