I got some 70cc saws to try out. I know one of them is yellow.

Anyone know how many different coils fit the ms 210/021? I have an ms 210c that got a broke rear handle early in life and must have been “not worth fixing”. It’s missing the coil and I tried a couple I have out of the older 021/023/025 and none fit the holes aren’t far enough apart.

There are two coils (and flywheels) and engine housings for the 1123's. The common coil is 0000-400-1306 and fits the whole range of that series (up to a point) using a 1123-400-1203 flywheel and the original 1123-020-3003 engine housing.

Newer MS210's, MS230's, and MS250's use an 1123-400-1301 coil with a 1207 flywheel and later 1123-020-3027 engine housing.

Thanks it was missing the coil completely and I need to get the right one. Very nice saw shape wise just keep getting 021,023 and 025 saws and part saws but haven’t found right coil yet. Might end up ordering

Are they any good though? This saw is going to a picky friend for a wheeler and deer stand saw. Needs to be reliable don’t want him coming back without spark in two weeks

The OEM 1301 module is 85 bux if your picky friend has deep pockets.

I've heard good reports about the cheaper aftermarket ignition modules across the board. My only personal experience has been with a 2-piece setup for an old-style Husky 61 and it's worked out great. Stens sells a 1301 MS250C replacement for $25..., probably the same as some of the others for $12.50 elsewhere. You may get lucky and find a used one at a reasonable price. The one thing I noticed right away looking on ebay, and what I would be careful about, is some sellers claim their module will replace either one of the 1306 or 1301 modules (which they obviously won't). Stens specifies two separate modules as proper replacements for each of the variants -- which I would personally trust a lot more than any of the others if you decide to go the AM route. Probably better recourse with them as well should you actually experience a failure.

Picked up 2 ms192t on AS. Ones a runner, other needed work. Got to poking around and noticed the clutch was wobbling around... I thought the worst. Turned out all 4 bottom end screws were loose. This was the worst one.

Gonna do some handle swapping to fix the switch on the left one. Where the master switch went has been JB welded and smoothed over.

Already have the runner sold to a buddy once I’m done, the other will hit the bay.

Easy little saws to work on.

$500 ~ $600 domestically if in real nice shape and the bars are indeed new. In Tipperary, Ireland??? I would guess quite a bit more even taking into consideration the exchange rate in local currency and general availability of the saw.
yes, a local dealer has it, it's so clean it's hard to distinguish between it and the new saws
