Do you like the newer style over the oldies? Obviously a huge weight difference.

I haven't run any of the "oldies". If the chance comes I certainly would like to though. I run mostly stihl, but really like how the 7900 series handles and the way they run.

Ill have my 133 finished shortly Mike you could run it to compare. Im not fond of the "feel" of the 7900 but do like how a well ported one runs.

I'll take you up on that offer sometime. For me, the angle of the front handle is what makes it feel different.

It is funny how much layout can throw a person off. I have picked up a saw before and just went nope.

Do they make chain roller guards for the 7910?

I'm not sure if my dual spikes have a hole for the roller catcher. Would be easy to drill the holes if not..

Very nice, but they are "just" sisters, not twins!

The 5k intrigues me, I keep looking at new and used ones locally, but I can not justify the purchase of one considering I always grab either one of my twins for even the smallest jobs.
My 40cc's hold the shelf down...

If only I had more firewood to cut, I would add those two to my play toys without thinking twice.
But, I barely have play time on my current herd!

I am a proud handler!

My Dolmar PS-6400 will most likely be set up with my Stihl Rapid Duro 3 chain permanently, she handles it very well.
I intend to mount my tach/hour meter on her to get an idea how long the RD3 will last.

My Dolmar PS-7900 got another TriLink loop, this time semi chisel, the 36" is a secondary setup.
I'm curious to see whether this TriLink loop will snap too before the teeth are fully worn.

You guys may already know this trick. I just stumbled across it while trying to remove the clutch off my 166. This is the wrench from my DeWalt 4" disc grinder. Fits perfect.

I made one to fit the clutch on my SP118/166



I also made an adjustable one that works pretty well. I did shorten up the pin to make it a bit stiffer.

I think I used a standard Stihl roller set up

This is 5105 OEM spikes on a 5100s with an aftermarket Stihl roller. I just drilled holes to make it work. It helps the saw not roller over as easily too
