Two additions to my Dolmar/Makita family today.

Brandy new 9010. This one came from @ajschainsaws in the U.K.
Andrew is a great guy to do business with, and if you're looking for one of these, he's your man!

This little guy I got from @166 in the Christmas giving thread. I'm a lucky guy!

Andrew you can see in this pic that all three have manual oilers.
My 152's, One has manual and one doesn't. Also have a 152 in
Poulan colors with manual oiler.

I finally got my 153 running a while back... have yet to put some hours on it. [emoji53]

Ugly dolly has gone from a 144 to an unofficial 152(153) now, thanks to a tear down and some case clearence dremel work. To ashamed to post a pic of how I relieved the case to fit the larger piston though. Comparing to a 153 case, pretty sure I have a higher ratio than a standard 153 though.

Sound is completely different to what the 144 was, maybe because the cylinder enabled a really large exhaust step to be put in. Just plain nasty soundin... In many ways think it sounds better than the 166, kind of nice to be using on jobs durring the holiday season, helping to make tourists holiday experiences more memorable. (You keep my mates up all night drinking, partying, violating fire regs etc. I come round at 8 in the morning and start milling...:2guns::flamethrower2:)

Are there any good aftermarket cylinder and piston assemblies for ps-7910 or makita EA-7900P on the market

Or is it OEM only

I've put plenty of time on a 54mm bbk 84cc kit with zero problems and plenty of power to pull 32" bars. There is only one AM distributor I'm aware of so all the kits should be the same and about $110 shipped -/+ $10

Thanks for the answers i would just use OEM and recommend it to all customers
But this customer doesn't want to spend too much
