The 152 is a bigger piston Have you tried a 133 piston there the same diameter but they're probably different lengths

That's ok glad you got the delivery

Is there an easy way to figure out if I have a 9000 or 9010?

Going to be a while before I can do that. It's missing partsand has a scored piston.

Ah...Well if you can find a number on the coil im sure that will tell you if its the one on the 9000 or 9100. Other thing is... if there is any of the ident sticker on there as a date or serial Number may also be able to narrow it down. Andrew @ajschainsaws ..often can help with numbers.

Over here the ps 9000 had a identity plate down beside the rear handle
and they where fitted with large bar stud nuts similar to the stihl and solo nuts 17mm
And if I remember rightly they had a red cover on the HT lead
And the flywheel has a different part number
And the 9010 should be looking fresher with less UV damage

The top photo is one of my 9010's
bottom photo is an older 9000

I don't remember a data plate right there but could have been one.

I was hoping for a quick cylinder and piston upgrade on the 144, nothing wrong with the current setup. Just always chasing the edge. Seriously wondering if it would benefit from a carb upgrade to a 395 or 372xt carb.

Anyway as to fitting the 153 cylinder and piston on the 144. Cylinder bolts on properly, piston has issues hitting inside case. To clear I would have to take 7mm off bottom of piston. Not going to happen.

Next alternative is to mill inside off the crank case out to match the 153's, comptemplating this. But most likely will buy a crank and resurrect the 153 carcass I got off someone

Here's the coil on my mystery Dolmar. Tag is long gone. Bing carb on it.
