I agree, the cylinder and piston look AM to me.

Rather sneaky. Or the seller just doesn't know.

I thought it looked AM also but the box being OEM I wanted to ask everyones opinion on it .

Personally, I've only seen aftermarket 7300, and 85cc big bores. Haven't come across a '7900' clone yet...

The lack of markings 'mahle' or part numbers is certainly suspicious.

Maybe ask them to measure the piston diameter?

But also, I'm green to dolmar.

Black AM cylinders can be found in every other ebay ad selling AM cylinders, they even glorify it as heat dissipating coating.

Many 52mm AM options available, oddly enough 47mm too.
Most are BB54mm though.

Besides the black paint possibly being AM are there any OEM that your aware of that don't have numbers/letters embossed on the lower rim ?
Looking at the pics this one doesn't have any that I can see .
