Just change one number in Your post and start a confusion!Part no 957213040
edit: looks like y'all already solved that!
Looks like aftermarket to me piston has coating no casting numbers on cylinder
The box looks OEM!
Many 52mm AM options available, oddly enough 47mm too.Personally, I've only seen aftermarket 7300, and 85cc big bores. Haven't come across a '7900' clone yet...
The lack of markings 'mahle' or part numbers is certainly suspicious.
Maybe ask them to measure the piston diameter?
But also, I'm green to dolmar.
Besides the black paint possibly being AM are there any OEM that your aware of that don't have numbers/letters embossed on the lower rim ?I have yet to see a "black" cylinder on a fully OEM Dolmar chainsaw.
Black AM cylinders can be found in every other ebay ad selling AM cylinders, they even glorify it as heat dissipating coating.
Mahle is not ashamed of their products!Besides the black paint possibly being AM are there any OEM that your aware of that don't have numbers/letters embossed on the lower rim ?
Looking at the pics this one doesn't have any that I can see .
Thanks

No markings equals aftermarket.

Most are BB54mm though.
