Nice 117 there, Jim.
The custom adaptor looks to me a bit like it was at leaset inspired by if not derived from an adaptor
for the late-style AV-handle support like this one:

Horst, I think you may be correct. Looks like someone used it to move the rear handle on my saw.

I can't get a picture to upload for some reason. My saw definitely has the spring mounted opposite to your pictures. It has the same clutch as your first picture, the only difference is that my clutch has a stamp saying 175 on it vs yours with the 195 marking. As far as I know the clutch has never been tinkered with, I bought the saw brand new in 2014. I will look for the spring end that broke off before attempting any repair without removing the clutch.
I appreciate your help with this.
I really like this saw.
Just a follow up.

175 clutch does have the springs hooked in from the back side.

195 clutch has them hooked up from the front.

Hey fellas, here’s that CC Super running. I have the cotton mouth and I sound like I’m drunk. Lol , I got me a bottle of water soon after.
Great running saw though and the relocated rear handle works well. I like the roller nose bar as well. Chain is .404 chipper. Hope you like.

I think that has the nicest sounding idle I have ever heard. It just sounds almost musical - a symphonic 2 stroke - wonderful!
I can hear it idle all day long as back ground music..

Hello. I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this. If not...sorry.
So I'm assembling a dolmar 7910 out of a big surplus of dolmar parts I acquired from a local logger. I've got everything cleaned up now and it was going together until I realized I needed an oil pump driver. I can't find one anywhere unless I order the new oil pump kit, which I'm hoping isn't the only option. I've already got about 10 oil pumps laying here and no drives.

Any help on where I may be able to find one would be greatly appreciated.

Still in stock, can be purchased individually, about 10-15$

Part number:
038245032

Make sure You are not missing the shim that goes under the driver:

Thank you very much. Maybe I'll have better luck finding the part having the actual part number.

As always, @Wilhelm is spot on.
The only thing I would add is to sometimes add dashes in between every third number, 038-245-032 and 038-224-021.
Some parts catalogs don't seem to recognize them without the dashes.
For the pump driver I would also search for 038-245-031 and 038-245-030. Those are the old part numbers that have been superseded by
038-245-032, but lots of places are sitting on these parts too, and searching for these will give you a broader search result.

What he said! ;)

I was replying on my phone from work so that I couldn't go into details.

As always guys, great info!! I appreciate the replies. I've got one ordered and on the way. Excited to get this one finished. I've never had much success finding a real good set of port timing numbers for these saws that gave enough of a difference to make it worth all the work. I got the numbers from a mastermind build on this one. So I'm thinking it should be a runner.

Just muffler mod and tuned against the coul limiter and these saws haul a$$!

You have to load the PH extremely to notice a difference in performance stock/ported.

The contraption they use in the muffler on these is ridiculous. Has to be one of the most time consuming saws to muffler mod. I'd say getting that out of there alone probably does wonders.

I find it simple enough to remove the SLR tube, easier than modding a PS-9010 muffler that has the baffle welded in.

The sound of a CC or CT idling is unmatched, except for some older dirt bikes!
