I could imagine to swap her with you Poulan 6000. Finding appropriate replacement
for both would be easier on either side of the big pond than to find a Poulan 6000
for me as well as a Sachs-Dolmar 153 for you.

My latest catch — an early SACHS-DOLMAR 153 probably built before 1981:









The starter housing is old style with DOLMAR embossing on it. Latest 1981 it had been replaced by a housing carrying a SACHS-DOLMAR 153 sticker.
She doesn't look like she had too much work to do the last 40 years...

She needs a little cleansing and the ignition line must be seen after, may the correct spark plug cap should be installed, but other than that there isn't much to blame on her.

Nice saw, chain was extremely aggressive (it is closer to a work chain to my liking after sharpening it since that job).
I have been told she can benefit from some carb fine tuning.

But, I am certain most would agree that getting a 9010 is worth stubbing a toe or two.
