Making Your neighbors happy?
Try without the muffler attached and blip her a couple times!
Making Your neighbors happy?
Just run it without wearing muffs for a day or two and it won't sound as loud to you.Kevin's MM on my XS EA5000 is brutal to unprotected ears!
I love her scream, a little high pitched for my liking but still wow.
I don't utilize that kind of muffs, the other kind is welcome any time!Just run it without wearing muffs for a day or two and it won't sound as loud to you.
Had some fun today.
PS-6400 performed admirably, 20" B&C. Bucking and noodling.
PS-7900 I made the chain too aggressive for turkey oak, was fine in beech at the neighbors firewood log pile, 24" B&C, full comp chisel chain.
PS-9010 had chip clearing issues, 36" B&C full comp chisel chain fully buried. Was fine in a smaller diameter log. Gotta swap over the modded muffler and retune. First cuts with the 36" B&C setup.

I haven't had this much saw time in one day in a long time, I have missed the fun of it.
But I am aching now, out of shape, over did it.
Dolmar FTW!
Considering the 9010, I can keep my eyes open for one for You.Need to send me a 9010
And have Kevin port you a cylinder for the 7900.
Yea , it is a pleasure to run , thanksNice!

In regards to ported 7900's, high revving saws do not fare well in hard dense turkey oak which is the firewood of my choice.
Moderate rpm and high torque is what I like.
Buuuttt, I have two 79's!
You can send that one to me lol those are awesome sawsTime to bump this thread up again and show my latest acquaintance:
