It is definitely a 9000 setup just by the clicking of the FW key notch

I can see from the IPL's its not so clear to be sure of the numbers but the basic run down is... 9000 = limited 11800 rpm then the change to the 9010 = 13500 rpm . Colours...black mostly from what I have seen . In the last few that were Makita Teal ps -9010...they were blue coils but still 13500 rpm.

Pulled the trigger on a NOS smurf 7301. Gonna send the muffler to @MG2186 and the saw to @Miller Mod Saws this spring, Carl did a great job on the 9010 so I’m gonna give him this one too.

Yes but it was still on it’s first tank of fuel. I’ll get it off YouTube and post the link. I had to learn how to run something that big too, I was making mistakes.

The newer video with Heath is a stock 9010 that I swapped over to a "Happy Start" cylinder brand new. Only has an "EHP" style muffler mod.

The older video from Bob's is a 100% stock 9010.

I don't have a ported 9000/9010
