Magnetic ! wonder why. The bars are adding some weight then , similar to some flags iv seen on a few Husqvarna saws.

Bet the extra weight sets the brake easier on kickback., enough to satisfy the safety peoples.

Indeed......."Apparently"..... Makita over here (UK) are also saying it helps strengthen the flag.

I didnt mean the little bar were themselves magnetic, I used a magnet to check them. Could magnetize them for holding stuff,,LOL

Anyone out there who has a vintage Dolmar with AV front handle. My CC 116 has it but the rubber bushes are missing. Would appreciate photos or knowledge of the original parts, or what to use as a substitute.

Finally got both Dollies to run, but the 118 doesn’t oil. Next project, I guess! Both are roughly the same vintage, around 1971 or so.

Same here in Canada. Cept is ships fer $20
So $40 +20 60 usd is $78 Canadian
