It must be nice to be able to walk for miles and see all that sky.
Yea, bud, I am familiar with the high plains out there. I dont know exactly where Carpenter is located, but I used to live between Gillette and Douglas in a little town named Wright.Yea your right. This is the high plains. It is mainly grass lands. I go into town for wood or up to the mountains. I have 12 cord right now split and stacked just drying out in the wind and sun. I believe I am the king of firewood out here. I do not believe any one here knows what a 3 year plan is.
Here's one of mine. An oldie but a goodie.

Is that a stock VS with air filter or something you made? any better pics of the intake, VS, and air filter pieces?
Semi-updated family photo.
MIA:
3-4 parts 520/109/540 saws
2x 9010/9000's
2x 5100/5105
2x ps34/45's
Bunch of parts saws...
And
9501 makita (Dolmar 343) soon to become a 143 makita chainsaw!
Thanks guys I'm working on expanding the older saw section... 1/3 - 1/2 of the 109/111/115/520/540's aren't running but there are other parts saws to fix them up. The 153 just needs an ignition from what I can tell. The 122 is one of my favorites for looks, so I have been trying to get the right parts to get it back together (it also has a full wrap). Also looking for a Mac-Dolly and Pol-Dolly so I can have the other two colors of the Dolmar family. Maybe one of these days Mark will let me lift his Yellow 166 off him; 99.9% chance that will never happen but a guy can hop and dream right?
Yes, top right on the 6800i in makita blue. 116Si in red on the floor. Most of my Mak's and Dolly's are pretty standard breed. If you look at the 9010 in the back, check out the cylinder cover... Do you see the decomp button??? Yea tell me whats wrong with that picture??Great. Mindset you have some nice saws there did I see a dcs6800I in your family
Hows that one run Josh? Here's one of mine. An oldie but a goodie.

I have a 143 in a box that needs a piston and cylinder, and a few other smalls to get going. If anyone can help me out with parts, please send me a PM.
Hows that one run Josh?
Did you block the limiter? If so what rpm did you 4stroke at? I can hardly believe these 123/143 saws max their power out at 8000rpm like acres says...Runs strong, John. I like the old magnesium for the sound, the feel, the experience.
