So clean. . .
Are You gonna use that saw and get her dirty?

Yeah its still clean, I just went through the whole thing and made sure it was right. There is some oil in the bearings :)

Trying to decide if I want to port this cylinder or just run it as is. I do plan on using it as much as I can.

None of mine lack power to pull their main 20" B&C setups with authority - other than muffler mod they are all stock.
As a matter of fact my 79 & 73's are unchallenged by their 20" setup so I give them more aggressive chains to utilize the power they crank out.

Do a muffler mod, retune and run her as is!

I know I'll end up in crossfire with this claim, but if You have a 79cc P&C on that saw and intend to run a B&C setup of 28" and shorter she'll have lots of power to pull the chain.
From my recent test runs not even the 73cc P&C lacks any power.

Good info. I am definitely torn between doing the work and not. If I don't do it, I think I'll always wonder what it could be if it was.

This saw is more for fun than anything, and to give me a project. Started the muff mod... Second port in front of the first with a factory cover. Make it look stock and be a sleeper. You can kinda see where the hole will be. Just imagine another diflector over that.

You can go ahead and box that up and send to Iowa... it needs to keep its cousins company... the 143’s are getting lonely next to the 9010’s and the 122 is complaining that the 153 is leaking oil. You’d think the 6100 and 5105 would keep the peace but I really need a mediator Solo cousin to keep them all in line...

Played a little with this over the weekend. NOS Homelite SEZ brush bar on my 520i. Works great on honey suckle, MFR, and honey locust with 6” thorns. Now if I could just find the right rattle can blue color...

Closest I’ve found is Rustoleum Lagoon. It’s not perfect, but pretty damn close.
Home Depot usually stocks it.

Can you get it in red? Dibs!
No really, I would open it. ;)
Only thing you're gonna find is NOS. They still build the Dolmar PS-9010 and the Makita DCS9010. But they are not available for the North American market.

I know what it looks like. Don't need to open the box.[emoji1]
