The 7900 is ALIVE! 28” Sugi lightweight came in yesterday, got to find some decent sized logs to test drive as all I have left is 12-14” hardwood.

And this even better

22.5” diameter hardwood, seriously hardwood. Saw performed admirably as it is still breaking in. I’ll be honest; I think the 28” is a bit much without the full wrap. The saw can definitely turn it and oil it but the half wrap bar sits about an inch closer to the handle/trigger than the full wrap and the added inch is a must for proper leverage.

Oh, that damned tree had something metal in it because it bent 2 teeth on a brand *f-wordking new chain. Seriously, not 5 minutes out of the box!

Tank is yellow plastic, not paint. There is also a sachs dolmar 112 complete in yellow and sold as sachs dolmar 50.
