Who is an echo dealer on the site? I forget..
I have 3 legit Echo dealer within 15 mins of me let alone the other places that carry them.
You know *s-words getting real when the good (and by good they have parts on hand) Stihl dealer starts selling full line Echo stuffs.
That's right, Joe is.
I think HD will get you a 7910 to.View attachment 188979
I would suggest you are both correct. Looks like the full line of Echo saws are available from Home Depot with free delivery from site to store. I purchased my Timberwolf from a Stihl/Echo dealer in Tucson. That dealer did stock some echo parts. To what extent I'm not sure.
word. The shop only has Echo saw on the end cap then a whole isle of trimmers and blowers. For sure! Some of the stihl dealers around here carry echo as a second brand as well. Makes sense especially when they are going after the landscape market. Most pro landscapers around here prefer echo blowers n string trimmers.
Nice, very interesting. Did you find out what bar mount it takes?
I’ll be honest, I’ve never used an Echo. So I assumed it was a large mount husky.
Thanks for the info.Hi All
A couple of weeks ago I was lucky to meet Jan at the European Logging Championship in Belgium.
He was kind enough to let me take a few pics of his comp saw, the new 70cc Echo, along with answering just about all my questions.
I’ll try to remember as much as I can.
The production saw will have ‘flip-up’ style fuel and oil caps (bit like the husky ones)
Movement limiter a bit like the 572
Muffler has a small blanking plate covering 2 more bolts
transfer caps
He wouldn’t let me photograph under the hood due to some patents. It has a manual carb, a pleated air filter (similar to 572) with rubber sealing surface to the elbow. The top cover has a channel formed to take air off the flywheel similar to air injection. This then enters the carb box on an offset to create a cyclone type effect, which apparently is very effective at ejecting larger chips.
The saw felt nice to handle, well built, slim, similar in a lot of ways to the 572. Speaking to Jan he said it has a smaller bore and more stroke and felt nice and torquey to use. (Sorry, don’t know the exact cc, bore or stroke)
Thanks for the info.
Terrible looking saw hopefully durable.
Hp specs?
Weight?
