I went to use one of my saws yesterday that has been the one that rides in the pickup over the winter ,last i used it was last sep or oct ,the fuel is pump gas 92 with mobil 1 oil ,i dumped it and put some saber in it , the saw pops off choke runs starts up and i can cut with it ,but i have to keep the throttle going to keep it running ,it will not idle now ,i take it mobil 1 does not have fuel stabilizers ? I have the green fuel line in the tank so i do not think that is the problem ,I guess rip the carb off and see if any goop inside from the fuel ??

I'd try a good dose of sea foam first. If that doesn't do it, the diaphragms have hardened up and aren't flexing

s splash of berryman b12 in the tank with clean up the goop inside the carburetor, it is so potent engines can run on it straight.

Went to take the carb off ,thr vent had a mound of sawdust on top almost half an inch tall ,i cleaned it with carb cleaner and air ,took the carb apart ,it looked clean but pulled the needles and blew carb cleaner through them first, took a couple seconds for a full stream of spray so it may have been gummed up ,it started i adjusted the carb now it idles again ,i won this time.lol

I have been using saber for a few years now and have only had one carb problem. My 306a won't idle. It sat for a few months. But it had sat for several years before this and I had only done a fast and nasty carb clean to see if it would run. I'm really liking saber at 32:1 -50:1.
