Well I was having a problem with a good consistent idle, and after talking to @mdavlee he said for me to try trimming the metering spring a bit to reduce the pop off. I won't know if it helped or not till Sunday or so. I'm gonna pull the jug tonight and see how much I have till I free port to see how much I can lower the jug. May lay it out and widen the intake and exhaust.

Yeah the springs in these AM carbs can be good or totally off... weird

My carb seems to be working really nice since I re set the metering lever height. Idles nice & smooth, and runs well, no complaints.

Well my cylinders are 0 for 2. Just removed the one I was running and it's *f-worded. This build is on hold and may not be done at all

I'll get them later. I left it where it sat. Not sure what it got in there but the jug has damage on the wall that goes thru the plating.

Rings look fine and no real damage to the piston

Yeah 2 farmertech cylinders, both junk. This one ran fine but it wouldn't have for long
