I've never been a fan of a stock 660. It had good torque but lacked rpm

Since we have till October to have these saws ready I've decided to do my build in stages at this point to see small increases or decreases in performance. Tonight I removed my flywheel key and thew it to the side. I advanced the timing half the keyway and also did a muffler mod. I kept the muffler mod conservative for now. I opened up the baffle on the side the exhaust exits and also made the stock opening larger. First impressions from just starting and piss reving is the saw seems much more responsive.

You can trust him.. And I will be busting up four trees with him on Sunday weather permitting. No one I'd rather have on the ropes when my azz is on the line. But I think he is going to try to brainwash me with all his ported Stihls.

Haha just buy you a 395, there's not a Stihl out there that would make you want to sell it.
