Man, that's a trashy mess. I would have chickened out and at least bucked that leaning dead stuff down before cutting that one, especially being a co-dominant. Great job, though!

Interesting…so the spikes in the end of the log are to keep it from checking? Never seen the likes.

That is a very Nice log and not bad on sap wood. What did the butt scale? Perspectives are deceptive but for a wild guess i will say 16'x16" (144' Doyle) Looks lie it has 4 clear sides unless you have a defect tucked on the bottom side.
